Oddsifi vs Outmatched

A $149/month application-only +EV alert service compared with $35/month matched betting software.

Oddsifi vs Outmatched

Oddsifi and Outmatched are both Australian and both built on expected value. They are not the same product. Oddsifi sends you bets. Outmatched gives you the software to find them yourself, plus the calculators, the academy and 100+ bookmakers to run them across. The price gap runs from four times to twenty-seven times depending on the tier. There's a third factor most comparisons skip, and it decides whether either one earns you anything: how fast Australian bookmakers limit a winning account.

What is Oddsifi?

Oddsifi is an Australian +EV value betting alert service delivered through Discord. A proprietary model scans Australian bookmaker markets for prices that sit above the true probability of an outcome, and members receive real-time alerts naming the selection, the bookmaker and the recommended stake.

Oddsifi isn't predicting winners. It finds prices that are wrong, bets them repeatedly at a fixed unit size, and lets the edge compound. That's the same principle behind positive EV betting generally.

The credentials are real:

  • Wade O'Shea, co-founder and former CEO of TexBet, brings inside knowledge of how Australian bookmakers price and risk-manage their books.
  • Jake Salvestrin, quantitative strategist, with 50+ stated value betting models across multiple sports.

Coverage spans NBA, NRL, AFL, NFL, soccer, cricket, golf, UFC, F1 and Australian racing. Access is application-based and capped, which Oddsifi says protects the edge from being eaten by its own members piling into the same markets. Tier 3 is limited to 50 people.

Pricing compared

Pricing checked July 2026 . Prices change, confirm on their site before subscribing.

Oddsifi publishes its membership tiers openly:

  • Free: occasional model-backed selections and Discord access. No card required.
  • Weekend Pass, $89/month: Tier 1 selections from Friday midday to Sunday only.
  • Tier 1, $149/month: around 50 bets per week, most sports, standard opportunities, real-time alerts, 7-day free trial. Instant approval.
  • Tier 2, $349/month: around 65 bets per week, all sports, a partial set of higher EV opportunities. Application reviewed.
  • Tier 3, $949/month: around 80 bets per week, all of the highest EV opportunities, full model output. Director approval, capped at 50 members.

Outmatched is a straightforward monthly subscription with no application:

  • Free, $0/month: 2 bookmakers on the odds matcher, basic calculators, horse racing software, intro academy content. No credit card required.
  • Premium, $25/month: 15 bookmakers, advanced calculators, premium academy, full Discord access.
  • Diamond, $35/month: 100+ bookmakers, the complete academy, all premium features and signup bonus guides.

Annualised, the gap is stark. Outmatched Diamond costs $420 a year. Oddsifi Tier 1 costs $1,788, Tier 2 costs $4,188, and Tier 3 costs $11,388. Even the Weekend Pass, which only covers Friday to Sunday, runs $1,068 a year.

Oddsifi does offer something Outmatched does not: a performance guarantee. If a tier's recorded results finish a calendar month net negative, your next month is credited. Read the fine print carefully though. It is assessed on the tier's tracked results at advised prices using their staking framework, not on your personal profit and loss, and a month where the model made $40 while you paid $949 still counts as a winning month.

Bookmaker coverage

"Coverage" means something different for each product, so be precise about it.

Oddsifi's model scans the Australian market and names the single bookmaker offering the best price on each alert. To act on those alerts you need to already hold funded accounts at most major Australian bookmakers. Oddsifi explicitly recommends Bet365, Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, PointsBet, Dabble and Unibet, and warns that members with only one or two accounts will miss a significant share of the value. That's a prerequisite cost of entry before the subscription even starts.

Outmatched's 100+ bookmakers on the Diamond tier works differently. You see every bookmaker's price against the Betfair exchange yourself, in a live odds matcher, and you choose what to bet. There is no queue, no 5 to 10 minute window, and no cap on how many people can act on the same opportunity.

There's a sequencing point here. Oddsifi's model assumes you already hold a wide spread of funded bookmaker accounts. Opening those accounts is exactly what matched betting monetises. Outmatched Diamond includes signup bonus guides across 100+ bookmakers, so building the account spread Oddsifi requires pays you rather than costing you.

Almost nothing overlaps. Oddsifi has no odds matcher, no dutching software and no calculators. The model does that work internally and you receive the output. Outmatched has no alert feed, because you run the search.

Say the consequence plainly. An alert service supplies no tools. You are renting output. Cancel Oddsifi and you keep nothing: no software, no calculators, no coverage, no way to find a bet on your own. Cancel Outmatched Premium and you drop to the free tier, which still gives you 2 bookmakers on the odds matcher, the calculators, the horse racing tools, the full academy and the Discord. Outmatched ships a real-time odds matcher, dutching software, a back/lay calculator, a true odds calculator, a multi EV calculator and horse racing tools on every tier. 100+ Australian bookmakers at $35 a month is the deepest local coverage at that price, and Oddsifi's cheapest full tier costs four times as much for none of that software.

The Limiting Problem Nobody Prices In

This is the part that decides whether a $149 to $949 monthly subscription earns its keep, and almost every comparison article leaves it out.

Value betting is trivially easy for a bookmaker to spot. You repeatedly take the top price in the market. You stake odd, non-round amounts a model handed you. You bet within minutes of a line moving. That pattern doesn't look like a punter.

Once they see it, they cut you. Max stake drops to a few dollars, or the account is closed outright. If you can only get $3 on, an alert telling you a price is 6% overs is worth 18 cents. Australia is a small market run by a handful of operators (Sportsbet, Ladbrokes and Neds, Bet365, TAB, PointsBet, Unibet) and they are aggressive about it.

  • It happens fast here. Weeks, sometimes less. Nobody can give you a guaranteed number, but nobody serious will tell you it takes a year either.
  • The lifespan per account is short. Oddsifi requires funded accounts at Bet365, Sportsbet, TAB, Ladbrokes, PointsBet, Dabble and Unibet. That's essentially the whole Australian market. Work through them and the model still finds edges you can't get money on.
  • The subscription bills regardless. $149 to $949 a month buys a signal feed that assumes open accounts at full stakes. Your accounts don't last every month. The invoice does. At Tier 3 you'd be paying $949 to stake $10 a bet.
  • Matched betting is different in kind. You're claiming promotions the bookmaker is actively advertising to acquire customers, so the account looks like a promo chaser's. The value is front-loaded into signup offers and captured early. Restrictions arrive eventually, but you've already banked the bulk of it.

Oddsifi publishes mitigation advice: cap your bankroll at $30,000, stake at the suggested unit size, round stakes to natural amounts. Sound advice, and it concedes the point. There's a ceiling on this before the accounts close, and it cuts both ways: stake big enough to make the subscription pay and you're detected faster, stake small enough to stay under the radar and the edge can't cover the fee. A big bankroll isn't a shield here, it's a bigger target. That's why EV and arb software is a poor buy for most Australians, and why the better spend is the tool that extracts signup and promotional value across 100+ bookmakers while those accounts are still fresh. We go deeper in our piece on getting banned from sports betting.

Where Oddsifi Fits

The tempting answer is "large bankroll, no time", and it doesn't survive contact with the limiting problem. A $30,000 bankroll doesn't let you take advantage of the alerts, because the stake sizes that would make the subscription worthwhile are the same stake sizes that get the accounts cut in weeks. You can't buy your way past detection. So no, a bigger bankroll doesn't make Oddsifi the better product over Outmatched. It just compresses the timeline.

What's honestly left is narrower: people with no interest in learning techniques. If you will never sit down with an odds matcher or a calculator, and you just want bets handed to you, Oddsifi provides some genuine value that Outmatched's self-serve model can't, because Outmatched requires you to actually do the work. Go in with open eyes though. That value is small and temporary. The accounts get limited, the edge dies with them, and you're unlikely to have paid off even the $149 tier before it's over.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Oddsifi legitimate?

It is a registered Australian business with named founders, published pricing, a stated guarantee policy and responsible gambling disclosures. It says plainly that it does not guarantee profits and that losing months happen. Whether the model's edge justifies $149 to $949 a month is a separate question, and only its tracked results can answer it.

Can I use Oddsifi and Outmatched together?

Yes, and there is a sensible order to it. Use Outmatched first to open and monetise accounts across a wide spread of bookmakers, which is the exact prerequisite Oddsifi requires. Once your promotional value is largely extracted, an alert service can squeeze some residual value from whatever account life remains, as long as you accept that window is short.

Which one makes more money?

Matched betting profit is bounded by how many promotions exist and how much time you put in, and it's close to risk-free per bet. Value betting profit is bounded by something harsher: how long your accounts survive, which in Australia is weeks. It can't scale with bankroll, because bigger stakes end the accounts sooner. For most people matched betting banks more before the restrictions arrive, and the subscription is a fraction of the cost. Our guide on whether you can make money with matched betting sets realistic expectations.

Will I get limited by bookmakers?

With either approach, eventually. Oddsifi says so directly and publishes mitigation advice. The difference is speed and shape. Value betting places consistently sharp bets at odd stake sizes, which Australian bookmakers detect within weeks. Promotional activity looks like the behaviour they advertise for, so it survives longer, and the money is banked earlier either way.

The Bottom Line

There is no bankroll at which Oddsifi becomes the better product, because the stakes that would justify the subscription are the stakes that end the accounts. Its honest use case is the bettor who refuses to learn techniques and will pay for handed-over selections while the accounts last, accepting that the benefit is small, the window is short, and the subscription probably won't pay for itself.

For everyone else, it is not close. Outmatched Diamond costs $35 a month against Oddsifi's $149 entry tier, requires no application, has no membership cap, and includes the 100+ bookmaker coverage and signup bonus guides that build the account spread Oddsifi assumes you already have. You keep the tools either way. An alert subscription leaves you with nothing the day you cancel, and nothing to fall back on the day your sports accounts get cut.
