OddsJam Review Australia (2026)
Excellent +EV software, priced per day, aimed at a market Australians rarely bet into.
OddsJam is the best known advantage betting platform in the world. It scans odds from 150+ sportsbooks in real time and flags positive EV bets, arbitrage, middles and low holds. The software is genuinely good. Whether it's worth the money depends almost entirely on where you bet.
This review covers what OddsJam actually does, what it costs in Australian dollars, where it holds up, and where Australian bettors get burned by it. If you want a direct feature-by-feature breakdown against a local platform, read OddsJam vs Outmatched instead.
Verdict up front
OddsJam is excellent software aimed at a market most Australians aren't betting into, sold at a price most Australians can't recover. If you bet US sportsbooks seriously, or you're running multiple countries at once, it's the strongest product available. If you're an Australian working local bookmaker promotions, the subscription will very likely cost you more than it returns, because the strategies it's built around are the ones Australian bookmakers restrict fastest.
What OddsJam does
OddsJam is a US-headquartered odds aggregator. It ingests prices from a very large book set continuously and surfaces opportunities through a set of scanners.
- Positive EV scanner. Compares each book's price against a sharp consensus and flags bets priced above their true probability. This is the flagship tool and the reason most people subscribe.
- Arbitrage scanner. Finds prices across two books that lock in a profit whatever the result. Broad book coverage means it finds plenty.
- Middles and low holds. Middling is barely handled anywhere else. Low hold screens show the tightest two-way markets, useful for turning bonuses over cheaply.
- Line movement history and CLV tracking. Their historical data depth is a real moat. If you want to prove you're beating the closing line, this is the tool.
- Promo conversion tools. Built around US sportsbook bonus mechanics, quoted at 95%+ conversion efficiency.
- Player props and DFS. Prop scanning plus optimisers for PrizePicks and Underdog. No Australian equivalent exists.
- A commercial odds API. You can license the raw feed and build your own models on it.
The execution is good. Scan speed and price accuracy are class leading, the interface is clean, and one-click bet placement into supported books is a genuine time saver. Nobody serious argues OddsJam is badly built.
What OddsJam costs
Pricing checked July 2026 from their pricing page. Prices change, confirm on their site before subscribing.
OddsJam quotes Australian visitors in AUD, but it quotes them per day. That framing is deliberate. "AU$31 a day" reads like a coffee run. Converted into the number people actually budget with:
- Sharp Money: about AU$13/day, roughly A$395 a month.
- Platinum: about AU$31/day, roughly A$940 a month, or around A$11,300 a year.
- Fantasy tiers sit well below both, but they're DFS-only and useless in Australia.
Annual billing takes roughly 15% off, and both paid plans carry a seven-day free trial. That trial converts to a full billing period automatically, which is where a lot of the complaints start. If you trial it, diarise the cancellation date.
The Australian problem
This is the part most OddsJam reviews skip, because most of them are written for the US market.
+EV and arbitrage betting have an obvious signature. You repeatedly take the top price in the market, you stake odd non-round amounts, and you bet within minutes of a line moving. To a trading team that pattern doesn't look like a punter, it looks like exactly what it is.
Australia is a small market run by a handful of operators, Sportsbet, Ladbrokes and Neds, Bet365, TAB, PointsBet and Unibet, and they are far more aggressive about restrictions than US books. Max stake gets cut to a few dollars, or the account is closed outright. It happens in weeks, often less, and fastest of all for arbitrage. Read how I got banned using maths for what that actually looks like from the inside.
So the effective lifespan of an OddsJam strategy here is short per account. The subscription renews every month regardless. Once you're limited you're paying AU$31 a day for arbitrage alerts you can stake $10 into.
Matched betting is different in kind. You're claiming promotions the bookmaker is actively running to acquire customers, so your betting pattern passes for normal. Most of the value sits in horse racing, which has much better long term account sustainability. Restrictions come eventually, but you've banked real profit first.
Australian bookmaker coverage
OddsJam does support Australian bookmakers. Since expanding beyond the US it has added Sportsbet, Ladbrokes Australia, TAB, Bet365, PointsBet Australia, Unibet Australia, Betway and William Hill, plus AFL, NRL and cricket markets. Any review telling you OddsJam doesn't work in Australia is out of date.
The honest caveats:
- It's the majors only. The smaller Australian corporates, where promotions stay soft longest because fewer people are watching them, largely aren't there.
- Market depth varies by book. Some Australian books carry far fewer priced lines in OddsJam than they do on their own site, which thins out the opportunity count.
- The Betfair Australia exchange isn't the centre of the workflow. Back-and-lay against the exchange, with lay stakes, liability and commission handled natively, is the backbone of Australian matched betting. OddsJam isn't architected around it.
- Australian promo mechanics aren't the focus. Bonus back offers, money back specials and the quirks of local signup bonuses are a local discipline. OddsJam's promo tooling targets US sportsbook offers.
Common criticisms
- Price. By far the most frequent complaint, and the most reasonable one. Platinum is priced for people running serious bankrolls, not hobbyists.
- Trial-to-billing surprises. Users regularly report being charged a full period after a trial they thought they'd cancelled, and refunds are not readily given. Cancel early if you're unsure.
- Expectations vs reality. +EV is a long-run edge with real variance attached. People who subscribe expecting steady weekly profit on a small bankroll are frequently disappointed, and blame the software.
- It accelerates limiting. The tool works, which is the problem. Following it faithfully is what gets accounts cut, and that's true everywhere, not just here.
- Account requirements. Getting value out of it means holding and funding a large number of bookmaker accounts simultaneously. That's capital sitting idle across many balances.
Who OddsJam is right for
Buy it if:
- You bet into US sportsbooks, where the book breadth and prop depth have no rival.
- You bet across multiple countries and want one tool covering all of them.
- You need line movement history to validate closing line value.
- You want an odds API to build your own models against.
- Your bankroll and turnover are large enough that A$940 a month is a rounding error.
Skip it if:
- You bet Australian bookmakers only.
- Your edge is promotions rather than pricing.
- You're starting with a few hundred dollars rather than a few thousand.
- You'd rather keep accounts open for years than extract fast and get cut.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is OddsJam legit?
Yes. It's a real company with real software, and the odds data is accurate and fast. The criticisms are about price, billing practices around the free trial, and unrealistic expectations, not about the product being fake.
How much does OddsJam cost in Australian dollars?
Sharp Money is around AU$13 per day, roughly A$395 a month. Platinum is around AU$31 per day, roughly A$940 a month or about A$11,300 a year. Annual billing takes about 15% off and both plans include a seven-day free trial.
Does OddsJam work in Australia?
Yes. It covers Sportsbet, Ladbrokes, TAB, Bet365, PointsBet and Unibet among others, plus AFL, NRL and cricket. The catch is that the strategies it's built for, +EV and arbitrage, are the ones Australian bookmakers restrict fastest.
Can you actually make money with OddsJam?
Yes, with a large bankroll, many funded accounts and the discipline to bet through variance. In Australia the harder question is whether you make more than the subscription costs before your accounts get limited. For most people working local bookmakers, no.
Is OddsJam better than matched betting?
They're different things. Matched betting hedges both outcomes so the result is close to locked in. Positive EV betting holds an unhedged position that is priced favourably, profitable long run but carrying real variance and needing a much bigger bankroll. See positive EV betting and can you make money with matched betting for realistic numbers.
Will OddsJam get my accounts limited?
Using it as intended will, eventually. Arbitrage will do it fastest, and Australian bookmakers prohibit it in their terms and detect it easily. Expect stake limits or closure sooner rather than later.
The Bottom Line
OddsJam is the best product in its category and a poor fit for most Australians. The software is fast, accurate and deep, and if you're betting US books or running data-driven models it earns the price. Betting Australian bookmakers on a normal bankroll, you're paying roughly A$940 a month for strategies that get your accounts closed in weeks.
If that's you, work Australian promotions instead. Start free, work through the academy at no cost, and see what you earn before paying anyone anything. Comparing your options? Our best matched betting sites in Australia guide runs the numbers platform by platform.
